If you are visiting the Anamalai Tiger Reserve in the State of Tamil Nadu you can not miss to visit the Tiger Reserve in the closest vicinity of Top Slip namely Parambikulam Tiger Reserve as the route from Pollachi to Top Slip will indicate poster /signboards of above tiger reserve. The route gets diverted from the village Sethumadai .One takes you to Top Slip and the other goes to Perambikulam village based on which the tiger reserve has been named. Of course from Top Slip it is hardly a few km.

As soon as you enter into the gates of the Perambikulam Tiger Reserve in Kerala you feel that you have come to Gods Own Country. The difference is huge and the change is visible through topography itself.

As you start safari inside you get to see lovely huge water body and the chirping of birds and animals waiting for you to shoot them from the camera. For the first time I happen to see Bonnet Macaque in a large group the village at the end. I too observe the spotted dear , Nilgiri Langur ,peacock , snake darter and Racket Tailed Drongo .
