Still most of the people believe in the age old myth that peacock (male) and peahen (female) do not mate and that is the reason why Lord Krishna adorns his feathers on his head.

Today morning i happen to ask a old man of about 80 years who happens to see peacocks on a daily basis, whether they mate for having the next generation. He firmly said that from his childhood he has gathered that peahen gathers tears from the eyes of a peacock and gets pregnant. When i showed him the image given below, he said that he is seeing the real happening for the first time in life.

For the last more than 3 years i am trying to pass on the message through social media as well as the print media the real story about the procreation in Peacocks.
