Note: All the birds are not seen in one particular season and are found in different months. But above list specifies the birds which are found easily in Corbett in comparison to other forests.
Day 1: Arrive at Corbett; evening safari in Dhikala Zone
Welcome! Your journey starts from Delhi, once you arrive at Corbett, in the afternoon, You will check-in at the Forest Rest House.
Corbett Tiger Reserve or commonly known as the Jim Corbett National Park, is one of the oldest park of Northern India and is home to the endangered Bengal tiger. Lying between the Himalayas and the Terai, it has wide variety of landscapes to mesmerize you with. Corbett Park has always been paradise to all the nature lovers, and also to other tourist because it gives them the best opportunity to witness, some exceptional wildlife.
You will have lunch at the rest house. In the evening, you will go for a jeep safari in the Dhikala Zone of Corbett National Park.
Day 2: Morning and evening safari in Dhikala Zone
Wake to a vibrant day with an adventurous morning safari in Dhikala Zone, followed by lunch and then some rest time. Later, you will again head for an evening safari.
Managed by the forest department under Corbett Tiger Reserve, Dhikala Zone, is centrally located inside of the park. To cover the entire distance from the park gate – Dhangari Gate, it takes up to an hour and half, which is approximately 30 km. It is known to be most popular tourist attraction and also it is one of the most sought after place to stay at. In Dhikala, one can see many wild animals and birds, giving ample chances to take photographs. For a true wildlife person, it is heaven indeed.
You have an overnight stay at the resort.
Day 3: Morning safari; departure from Corbett.
After the morning safari, you will return to your rooms at 0900 hrs and have morning supper. Post breakfast, you will check-out of the room at 1000 hrs, then head to home.
The main attraction of the park is Asiatic wild elephants, Tigers and the wide variety of birds found here. The common wildlife includes Leopard, Sambar deer, spotted deer, Barking deer, Jackal, Langur monkey, among other various aquatic species such as Mahseer, Crocodile, Gharial and etc.
