Itinerary Details

Welcome! Your journey starts from Delhi, once you arrive at Corbett; check-in at the resort. Post lunch and rest, in the evening, you will go for a safari ride. Corbett National Park or commonly known as the Jim Corbett National Park, is one of the oldest park of Northern India and is home to the endangered Bengal tiger. Lying between the Himalayas and the Terai, it has wide variety of landscapes to mesmerize you with. Corbett Park has always been paradise to all the nature lovers, and also to other tourist because it gives them the best opportunity to witness, some exceptional wildlife. From Delhi, Corbett is approximately 250 kms which is almost 5 hrs drive. After returning from the evening safari, you will retire for the day. You may also choose to spend leisure time with in-house activities in the resort. You have an overnight stay in the resort. (Meals included – Lunch and Dinner)

Your day starts with the voice of chirping bird and tracking of alarming calls to find the Tigers during morning safari. The national park is basically bisected by the Ramganga river, and also by the Kosi river. The best site to really see is at the reservoir section – Kalagarh Dam, which is created by the Ramganga river. Many species of the migratory bird such as bareheaded geese and sandpipers come here during the months of winters. Corbett has zone such as – Bijrani, Dhikala, Jhirna, Dhela, Sitavani and also Durgadevi. Bijrani zone’s entry is just 1 km away from Ramnagar, and is quite popular among the day tourist in this zone. Completely covered with deep forest, grassland and amazing wildlife, this zone is just beautiful. Dhikala zone is centrally located in the park and it is a rest house for all the guest. In Dhikala, one can see many wild animals and birds, giving ample chances to take photographs. One can take canter safari. Jhirna zone is situated in the south side of the park and considered to be blessed with beautiful wildlife. Here one can see Nilgai, Cheetal and Sambar Deer; if you are lucky, you may also get to see a tiger! Dhela zone and Sitavani zone attracts decent number of tourist. For a wildlife tourist, these zones mentioned are divine place to click some beautiful pictures. Durgadevi zone is exceptionally used for Elephant safaris, during which one has direct access to Ramganga river and offers you abundant chances to photograph nature. You return back to your resort only to freshen up and post lunch, again you head for evening safari. (Meals included – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

The last day of the adventurous trip, begins with you checking-out from the resort at 1100 hrs. and heading for morning safari. Once the safari ride is complete, you will head back to Delhi. Corbett offers you lots to see and explore. There are almost more than 600 species of trees, herbs and grasslands. The higher you go, different species of animals are found such as Himalayan black bear and Serow; these kinds are not found in the lower ground of the forest. Lots of variant migratory birds are also found, enabling you to capture them through your camera, in their natural movements. With the last ride in the safari, your trip comes to an end.
