About Thane Creek
Thane Creek is truly one of the best kept secrets for observing birds. One can explore the creek in a boat ride where one can observe a large number of Lesser and Greater Flamingos along with various other birds such as Avocets, Northern Shoveler, Grey Heron, Egrets, Plover, Sandpiper, Black headed Ibis, Whimbrel etc to name a few.

Trip details
There are 2 options to do this trip

1) From Bhandup pumping station Side where you get a chance to do bird walk to see many more grassland birds as well as other migratory birds apart from flamingos.
There are 14 seater boats.

Trip duration :  Around 2.5 hours

Charges :  800 per person on weekends, 700 per person on weekdays

Includes : Boat ride, Binoculars for viewing, Services of Wildnest team members, Bird Checklist & Fun activity sheet for kids

Suggested items to carry : Camera and/or Binocular, Cap, Water, Snacks
