Panna National Park – 3 Days

Introduction

Khajuraho is overflowing with history and mainly known for its temple complex, this place has got a number of ancient temples. Apart from reflecting a unique architectural skill, the sculpture of each and every temple in Khajuraho depicts royalty, wrestling, kinship, courtship, marriage, spiritual teachings, meditation and many other postures of human beings.

Panna is teeming with Tigers. Panna National Park spread over 540 sqkm is the only large wildlife habitat remaining in North Madhya Pradesh. The forests of Panna National Park along with Ken Gharial Wildlife Sanctuary form a significant part of the catchment area of the 406 km Ken River which runs northeast for about 72 km through the park.

Focus Mammals: Tiger, Chital, Chinkara, Nilgai, Sambar and Sloth Bear.

Focus Birds: Bar-headed Goose, Honey Buzzard, King Vulture and Blossom-headed Parakeet.

Day 1:

Arrival at Khajuraho at 06:30 am. On arrival, we will take you for breakfast where you can refresh yourself, start your guided temple tour, followed by lunch at Khajuraho and visit to Raneh Falls. Check-in at your resort in Panna National Park. Evening at Leisure.

Day 2:

Wake up early morning to enjoy the safari at Panna National park return back to resort, have leisure time inside the lodge enjoy the delicious lunch buffet and get ready for another thrilling Jungle ride in evening.

Day 3:

Wake up early morning and start your jungle safari with excursion to Pandav Fall after lunch check-out from the resort and leave for Khajuraho. Optional temple visit or shopping at Khajuraho. In evening board train from Khajuraho railway station to Delhi at 06:20 pm.
