Peacock and Peahen Mating at Delhi
Peacock and Peahen Mating at Delhi

The entire country is celebrating Van Mahotsav 2017 by planting saplings from 1st of July and the celebration would come to end on 7th July. Truly speaking this means celebration of forest but right from 1950 we have been celebrating this week by planting trees. I have gathered from the literature and various ACTS dealing with forest that still there is no definition of Forest. It is gathered that Ministry of Environment and Forest is busy and would come out with its definition.

Still there are many secrets which FOREST has not revealed.

There is a very prominent saying JUNGLE MAI MOR NACHA KISNE DEKHA. (A peacock danced in the forest —who saw it ).Being the National bird of country many people would have seen it in their own village ,town ,city or in the wildlife park or sanctuary.

How many have seen them mating ?

Very Few.

Another mating shot from my treasure trove.

Enjoy –It is a rainy day at most of the places in India.
