  • Fresh and enthusiastic, we leave Ahmedabad to proceed towards LRK ((100 kms – 2 hours). We arrive at our beautiful resort we’d be staying at. Now it’s time to relax over a cup of tea!
  • We start our evening with an introductory session where we give an overview about Rann and its denizens, which will help you throughout the trip. We will be also be taken through villages, where we can see  culture of Kutch and its vibrant colours.
  • Considering the excitement to go on our first Safari, it would be wise to rest until next morning. For now, we are treated to a special hot supper.
  • We go for morning Safari in LRK. Flamingos, quails, bustards – you name it and the place has it. With over 70000 bird nests, it wouldn’t be difficult to come across a wide variety of little ones. We can expect a myriad range of sounds too. For all the photography enthusiasts, there couldn’t be a better occasion to click these birds. Local expert guide and driver will be able to guide and help you.
  • We come back for lunch and rest for a while before leaving for our evening Safari. It could be an excellent opportunity to scout for the Khur. We must keep our eyes peeled to the ground.
  • The end of yet another thrilling safari.
  • After satisfying those growling stomachs with some mouth-watering dishes, we retire for the day.

Note: People who are inclined more towards historical and cultural interests can cover Sun temple of Modhera and Patan Town this day on additional charges. Patan is famous for manufacturing beautiful Patola silk saris and Rani ki Vav (step well) – a world heritage site.

  • We wake up for our last Safari at LRK. The last one is always filled with a lot of surprises, so keep your eyes and ears open!
  • The Safari is followed by a mouth-watering breakfast and checkout. It’s time to bid adieu to the jungle and leave for Ahmedabad. You will not know how the 2 hour drive to Ahmedabad passed by, for the trip would have given you a lot to think and smile about.

Extension-1

Fab stuff…

The tour was very well organised. But the most important thing is the sessions at the end of the day. Bharat spent time with all those who asked for help and went through all our pics at Length. The effect was telling. This made it a fun + learning trip.

Well informed

The best part of Wildnest is its well informed and knowledgeable outlook towards nature and wildlife. It is evident that Wildnest is keen on sharing its experience with aspiring participants and the Wildnest team puts in efforts to see to it that as much knowledge on wildlife is dissipated as possible. This will go a long way in retaining your customers.

An unforgettable holiday in India

A nest can be considered to be a home. A Wild nest therefore could be considered a home in the wild, or a home away from home. This is exactly what Ankit, Bharat and the whole Wildnest team has provided us during our trip through India from day one till the very last minute. Wherever we came everything was arranged till the smallest details.  We were accompanied by the best guides available and treated like we were old friends of the family. Thank you Ankit, Bharat & your team for an unforgettable holiday!

Jewels of the Wild, superb wildlife experience!

Dear Ankit and all of the team of Wildnest,
We (Ilma & Leo) travelled for the second time to India and again we chose Wildnest for organising this wildlife trip.
Because we enjoyed our first trip to India so much, six friends were now joining us. Also this time it was a very well organised holiday, with excellent personal service even during our trip, and with good accomodations.
All the various drivers were friendly and helpful and all the various naturalists were excellent.
It was a wonderful holiday and the personal assistance was very much appreciated. Thank you for making our holiday very memorable!
